Our Leadership

  Dr. William A. Twayigize
Co-Founder & Visionary, Christian Construction Company (CCC)

Dr. William A. Twayigize, Co-Founder and Visionary of Christian Construction Company (CCC), is a leader whose work is grounded in the integration of faith, ethical enterprise, and community-centered development. CCC was established on the conviction that housing is not merely a commodity, but a basic human right and a reflection of both biblical teaching and the African philosophy of Ubuntu—“I am because we are.” Under his leadership, the company pursues a model where profitability is not abandoned, but guided by moral responsibility: ensuring that the pursuit of profit never comes at the expense of human dignity. CCC is therefore committed to delivering affordable housing solutions that are accessible, sustainable, and designed to uplift communities rather than exploit them, demonstrating that faith-based principles and sound business practice can coexist in a just and impactful way.

Dr. Twayigize brings to CCC a wealth of global experience shaped by his work across government, academia, and international development. Having served in the Office of the President of Kenya, contributed to global health and social medicine initiatives at Harvard University, and taught as a professor in the United States, alongside academic training in Australia, Kenya, and the United States, he offers a uniquely informed perspective on housing, development, and social innovation. His lifelong commitment to serving vulnerable populations—particularly refugees and underserved communities across Africa and the diaspora—has shaped his vision for CCC as more than a construction company. It is a mission-driven enterprise that builds homes, schools, and community infrastructure while fostering empowerment, sustainability, and long-term social transformation, firmly rooted in Christian values of integrity, compassion, and service.
